Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 700 block of Anglers Pond. It could not be found.

3:10 a.m. Officers investigated a motorcycle on its side in a parking spot at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A backpack was found and returned to the owner.

3:19 a.m. Officers contacted a person in the 300 block of Anglers Drive and gave them a ride home.

8:29 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a power line fire at South Aspen Street and East Washington Avenue in Hayden.

8:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was illegally putting trash in a Dumpster in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane.

8:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of lost cell phone in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.

8:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car versus bike accident at Eighth and Oak streets. No one was taken to the hospital.

8:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost money in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

9:22 a.m. Officers were called to help a person at the police department who had questions about selling a car.

10:44 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of vandalism at a school in the 27200 block of Brandon Circle.

12:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

12:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gunshots in the Blue Sage Drive area. The shots were coming from a person who was sighting a hunting rifle in an area outside city limits.

2:07 p.m. Officers were called to help a person in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue who had a bike stolen in May and found it at a pawn shop.

3:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who receiving unwanted phone calls in the 700 block of Spring Creek Circle.

3:24 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who lost property on a trail near Clark.

5:27 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a one-vehicle accident near mile marker 65 on Colorado Highway 131. No one was injured.

10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a Dumpster in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.

10:09 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who was being harassed in the 300 block of South Sharp Avenue in Oak Creek.
