1:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers investigated a suspicious car on Laurel Lane. No one was in the car.

1:08 a.m. Officers investigated a suspicious car in the 1100 block of Hilltop Parkway. A 20-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

4:12 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 300 block of South Sharp Avenue in Oak Creek.

6:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a trash truck being loud at Tamarack Drive and Hilltop Parkway.

6:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1100 block of Overlook Drive.

7:37 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of stolen timber in Oak Creek.

9:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 500 block of Tamarack Drive.

9:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance on Tamarack Drive. People were having an argument about someone illegally putting trash in a Dumpster.

1:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a passport found on Weiss Circle.

2:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who received a fax in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive that was possibly fraudulent.

3:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of construction vehicles parked badly on Ridge Road. The cars were legally parked.

4:53 p.m. Deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 400 block of Main Street in Yampa.

5:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a backpack found on the Spring Creek Trail.

6:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident at U.S. Highway 40 and C.R. 68.

6:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving harassing text messages from a former boyfriend.

7:53 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment in the 300 block of East First Street in Oak Creek.

8:36 p.m. Officers received an anonymous tip about drug use in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

10:23 p.m. Officers stopped a car at Lincoln Avenue and Conestoga Circle for weaving. A 52-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of driving under restraint.

11:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car doing doughnuts at the rodeo grounds. A person was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and violating a protection order.

Okay, the careless driving makes sense, but violating a restraining order at 11 pm at the rodeo grounds? What, the person has to kept away from the livestock?
