6:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2900 block of Alpenglow Way.

8:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.

10:53 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a fire in the 1200 block of West Jefferson Avenue. Fire Chief Bryan Rickman said a machine used to heat bearings overheated inside a business and put out a lot of smoke. He said there wasn't a fire when firefighters arrived.

12:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gunshots near the gondola at Steamboat Ski Area. A person inside a gondola car called police to report that a vehicle full of juveniles pulled over on Apres Ski Way and fired BBs at the gondola car. Police were unable to locate the shooters.

4:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two men having an altercation near a swimming pool in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. Police cited one of the men for harassment.

5:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a stolen motorcycle in the 500 block of North Grant Avenue in Oak Creek.

7:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors having an argument in the 1200 block of Athens Plaza. The dispute was mediated by police.

8:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the first block of Anglers Drive. A person left his or her wallet on the hood of their car, and it was gone when they went to look for it.

8:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash at Routt County Road 129 and U.S. Highway 40. Police said one person sustained minor injuries.
