Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was taken to detox.

3:54 a.m. Police were called to a report of a person pushing a grill through a parking lot in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza. The caller thought it was suspicious for that time of night and wanted officers to check on the situation. Officers did not find the person with the grill.

4:21 a.m. Police and Colorado Division of Parks & Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear on Cypress Court.

5:53 a.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

5:56 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of a noninjury car vs. deer crash at mile marker 150 of U.S. Highway 40.

6:45 a.m. Deputies, state troopers and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a report of a car crash on Routt County Road 76 near Hayden.

7:33 a.m. Police and Parks & Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear on Snowflake Court.

10:13 a.m. An officer came across a car in the middle of Pine Grove Road with no driver and its flashers on. The officer discovered that the car belonged to an employee of a nearby business, who didn’t know it was there because a coworker had moved it into the middle of the road as a prank. The prankster was warned.

10:49 a.m. Police were called to a report of two-car, noninjury crash in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive.

11:25 a.m. Someone found a wallet in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive and turned it over to an officer. The owner approached the officer later and retrieved the wallet.

11:51 a.m. Routt County Search and Rescue was called to the Cow Creek area where a 51-year-old woman was injured after falling off her mountain bike on the Ridge Trail.

3:31 p.m. Police were called to a report of people who were not residents of the condo complex throwing trash in the Dumpster in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway.

3:53 p.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken person in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 38-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, and violating a protective order.

6:15 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear on Eighth Street in downtown Steamboat Springs.

6:54 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear on Sunburst Court.

7:09 p.m. Deputies and state troopers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 36000 block of Routt County Road 179. A 43-year-old man had driven his car into a ditch and was arrested by Colorado State Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, careless driving and failure to notify police of an accident.

8:19 p.m. Police pulled over a 45-year-old man for failing to signal at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police arrested the man on suspicion of driving under the influence.

9:50 p.m. Police were called to a report of a lost cell phone in the first block of Maple Street.

10:32 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway. Officers issued a warning to a loud house party.

11:05 p.m. Police pulled over a 57-year-old man at Walton Creek Road and Chinook Lane for a defective taillight. Police arrested the man on suspicion of driving under the influence.

11:38 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear at Whistler Road and Morgan Court.

Four arrests and one warning for excessive drinking. They weren't gambling too were they?
