Steamboat Stinger announces 2013 race dates

Steamboat Springs — Honey Stinger announced the race dates for the third annual Steamboat Stinger. The race will be scheduled for Aug. 17 and 18. A registration time hasn’t been announced, but registration opened in April last year.
The event has been a striking success. Last year, it drew 400 riders for its 50-mile bike race and another 300 runners for its trail marathon. The ride features two, 25-mile laps on the singletrack of Emerald Mountain. It can be done as a team or as an individual.
