Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:55 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a car that rolled down an embankment at Lincoln Avenue and Old Fish Creek Falls Road. The driver had minor injuries and was ticketed for driving too fast for road conditions.

9 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off Routt County Road 129 near mile marker four. The driver had minor injuries.

11:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man getting fraudulent phone calls in the 1000 block of Saratoga Avenue. The man said a phone book company called him claiming he owed money for advertising.

12:06 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of pictures stolen from a home in the 25300 block of C.R. 33A.

12:28 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that was stolen and then returned at a ranch in the 73900 block of C.R. 129.

12:55 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a fence that had been cut in the 13100 block of U.S. Highway 40.

1:35 p.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of hunters trespassing in the 37300 block of C.R. 179.

2:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 100 block of Sixth Street.

2:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike that had been abandoned for the past 10 days in the 1700 block of Shield Drive.

3:13 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 31 on C.R. 129.

4 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who left a gas station without paying for $90 in gas in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. The person was located, and he or she returned to pay for the gas.

4:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver on River Road who was talking on the phone and swerving.

4:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at the downtown post office. A man was upset because he thought his mail was being held, but the post office had no record of that.

5:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in a parking lot taking pictures of another person’s car in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The person could not be found.

5:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an accident near mile marker nine on C.R. 129. It was gone when deputies arrived.

6:42 p.m. Officers contacted a blind man at Yampa and Eighth streets and gave him a ride home.

10:27 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who possibly had overdosed in the 27400 block of Brandon Circle.

11:02 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to investigate smoke in the 700 block of McKinley Street.

11:26 p.m. Officers contacted a woman with a baby at High Point Drive and South Lincoln Avenue and gave them a ride home.
