Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:16 a.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear at Dream Island Plaza.

8:40 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car in a driveway in the 23100 block of Routt County Road 56 near Steamboat. The car belonged to a person serving civil papers, and the person was at the wrong house.

8:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of threats in the 100 block of 11th Street. A week ago, a man came to a business and caused a disturbance. The man was told not to return to the business.

8:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person found unconscious in a car in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 53-year-old Westminster man had died from an apparent heart attack.

10:41 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 3 on C.R. 14.

11:14 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. She was fine.

11:18 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 11 on C.R. 33.

2:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a noise complaint in the 29000 block of River Drive near Clark.

6:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a dead deer near mile marker 100 on U.S. Highway 40.

8:01 p.m. Deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of an accident near mile marker 145 on U.S. 40 on Rabbit Ears Pass. A truck pulling a trailer took a corner too fast, jackknifed and then rolled. No one was injured, but 50 gallons of diesel fuel spilled and had to be cleaned up.

8:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man thought someone was taking scrap metal from his pile.

8:32 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a one-car, noninjury accident in the 30900 block of Colorado Highway 131.

9:24 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a generator that was vandalized on C.R. 76.

9:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1400 block of Mark Twain Lane.

10:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 1100 block of Manitou Avenue. A warning was given.

11:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people being loud in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A minor was given a summons for possession of alcohol.

11:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 3200 block of Après Ski Way.
