Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
1:09 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who saw a mountain lion near mile marker 53 on Colorado Highway 131.
2:40 a.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza.
9:42 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person at Routt County Road 14 and Colo. 131.
10:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.
10:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a window broken at a business overnight in the first block of 10th Street.
11:01 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a hunter who reportedly was having a stroke at C.R. 14 and Emerald Meadows Drive.
11:34 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 29300 block of Elk View Drive near Steamboat.
12:33 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having chest pain in the 500 block of Tamarack Drive.
2:53 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who received a harassing phone call in the 25800 block of Routt Street in Phippsburg.
3:12 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the first block of East Logan Avenue.
4:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who had been shot in the 41600 block of C.R. 44. A doctor reported treating a man on a previous day, and the man reported shooting himself in the thigh while cleaning a .22-caliber gun. Deputies were following up on the incident Wednesday.
6:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of road signs that had been vandalized near mile marker 1 on C.R. 64 near Clark.
6:39 p.m. Officers contacted a man and gave a trespass warning saying he was not allowed to go to a business in the 1900 block of Curve Plaza.
8:12 p.m. Officers investigated a suspicious unoccupied car in the 700 block of Lithia Springs Road.
8:34 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 9 on Colo. 134.
