Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was sick in the 100 block of 12th Street.
3:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers investigated an open door in the 100 block of 11th Street. The door was secured.
8:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car that had been driven by a preschool several days earlier in the first block of Maple Street.
8:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The driver was gone when officers arrived.
9:10 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver near mile marker 120 on U.S. Highway 40.
10:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person living out of his or her van in a parking lot on Walton Creek Road.
11:11 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a portable toilet knocked over on Buffalo Pass. The person who reported it wanted deputies to make sure no one was inside.
12:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a careless driver in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.
1:16 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell at Soroco High School.
2:37 p.m. Officers were called to investigate smoke in the 1100 block of Longview Circle. Someone was burning leaves.
3:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a domestic disturbance at a gas station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. A man had followed his wife to the gas station and is suspected of slashing her tires. A 26-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.
3:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a cellphone in Steamboat.
3:36 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a fight in the 200 block of Moffat Avenue in Yampa.
4:12 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 200 block of West Second Street.
5:13 p.m. A person came to the police department and reported harassment.
6:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who made an illegal turn at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.
7:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that got into a trash can that was not bear proof at Third and Pine streets. The trash can was bear proof.
8:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man at a restaurant in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. The man was told to leave.
