Steamboat sales tax collections increase in August for 5th straight month
The city collected $1,440,663 in August compared with $1,411,179 in August 2011, a 2.09 percent increase, marking the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year increases and the seventh month this year. Year-to-date collections are up more than 2 percent.
