Police, fire and ambulance calls

6:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive. The bear left.

7:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trash in the 200 block of River Road and an ongoing problem with bears.

9:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue. The driver was contacted and was not drunk.

9:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 800 block of Crawford Avenue. Neighbors were having a dispute about parking.

10:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of vandalism in the 24100 block of Routt County Road 25 near Oak Creek.

11:11 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a drunken person in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. The person was turned over to a friend.

12:16 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver near mile marker 64 on Colorado Highway 131.

12:29 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 2600 block of Longthong Road.

1:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver at Lincoln Avenue and Elk River Road.

2:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wrote a bad check for more than $5,000 at a business in the 1800 block of Elk River Plaza.

2:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver in the 1100 block of 13th Street.

2:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman in the 600 block of Meadowbrook Circle who said a woman made a threatening comment to her.

4:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver in the 1700 block of Anglers Drive.

6:12 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of people trespassing in the 100 block of Moffat Avenue in Yampa.

8:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 111 on U.S. Highway 40.

10:28 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who was threatened near mile marker 108 on U.S. 40.

10:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of Anglers Court. A woman called police saying her ex-boyfriend came into her home uninvited. The ex-boyfriend from Denver said the woman invited him to come to Steamboat and she yelled and him when he came over. The ex-boyfriend was told not to go back to the house.
