Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.
1:44 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was having difficulty breathing in the 2600 block of Longthong Road.
7 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive.
7:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of unsecured trash at Pine and Third streets. A ticket was issued.
8:54 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having an allergic reaction at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street.
9:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute about money that led to one person calling the other person names and spitting on him or her in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 32-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of harassment.
9:17 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having a seizure in the first block of Balsam Court.
11:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of bears that got into the back of a car and were going through groceries in the 600 block of Meadowbrook Circle. They were gone when officers arrived.
12:18 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having a seizure in the first block of Balsam Court.
12:22 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to check on the welfare of a person in the first block of Hillside Drive.
12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was bitten by a dog in the 1200 block of Buckskin Drive.
1:08 p.m. A wallet found outside Steamboat was turned in to police.
1:39 p.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear on 13th Street.
3:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
4:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen from the 700 block of Yampa Street.
4:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was being harassed by an ex-girlfriend.
4:33 p.m. Officers were called to speak with a person about a bike missing from the 700 block of Yampa Street.
4:41 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who was trespassing near mile marker 50 on Colorado Highway 131.
5:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two women arguing in the first block of Anglers Drive. A 19-year-old Steamboat woman was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.
5:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car illegally parked in a handicapped spot at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
6:54 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 104 on U.S. Highway 40.
7:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 2800 block of Bucks Path. It belonged to construction workers.
8:13 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
11:06 p.m. Officers contacted a person at Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue and gave him or her a ride home.
