Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a drunken man urinating in an alley in the first block of Seventh Street. A warning was issued.
4:47 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having chest pain in the 400 block of Main Street.
7:14 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 155 on U.S. Highway 40. A car skidded on ice.
8:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of smoke coming from a home near mile marker 63 on Colorado Highway 131. The smoke was coming from a stove and incinerator.
8:38 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 5 on Colo. 134.
8:40 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 300 block of West Jackson Alley.
9:30 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of five real estate signs stolen from the 25800 block of Connor Court in Clark.
11:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman picking up trash and taking it back to her home at Après Ski Way and Village Drive.
12:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers mediated the situation.
12:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike missing from Spring Valley Drive and Meadow Lane.
12:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. A couple in the process of getting a divorce was arguing.
1:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A woman had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend’s mother.
2:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an employee who had taken money from a cash register at a business in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
5:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 30300 block of Triple Crown Lane. A man entered a house holding a briefcase and said he was there on horse-related business. The man hung out for a while and then drove away. He could not be found.
5:42 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a large amount of fishing gear that had been stolen a month ago from a truck parked on a bridge in the Milner area.
6:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a party in the 500 block of Buena Vista Court, where cars were blocking a driveway.
6:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 3100 block of Burgess Creek Road. A resident threw rocks at the bear and scared it away.
7:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 100 block of Ninth Street.
8:08 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of East Washington Avenue.
8:15 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an employee in Milner who heard what sounded like two gunshots or fireworks. Deputies could not find evidence of gunshots or fireworks.
8:37 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a dead deer near mile marker 123 on U.S. 40.
9:34 p.m. Hayden officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
10:30 p.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway. A warning was given.
