Man killed in Thursday night crash in South Routt County identified

Steamboat Springs After contacting family Saturday, Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg was able to release the identity of the 72-year-old Denver man killed in a car crash Thursday night in South Routt County.
Ryg identified the man as Robert Bratz. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was a passenger in the 1998 Ford Crown Victoria that rolled near mile marker 28 on Colorado Highway 131. He was not wearing a seat belt and had been partially ejected through the windshield.
The driver, 55-year-old Mark Hendrixson, of Brighton, was wearing a seat belt and seriously was injured in the crash. He was transferred to a Denver hospital, and Ryg said he is expected to live.
