Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:35 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was having breathing difficulty in the 200 block of Bell Avenue.

6:57 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was sick in the 300 block of Fourth Street.

7 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 2600 block of Longthong Road. Officers mediated an argument between a mother and daughter.

7:39 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having chest pain in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.

8:44 a.m. Officers were called to retrieve multiple items from a lost-and-found at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Plaza.

8:45 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a disturbance at a school in the 27200 block of Brandon Circle. Deputies said the man made threatening gestures with his hand and said things to imply that he had a gun. A 57-year-old transient/Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of menacing and obstructing a highway.

9:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 2000 block of Snow Bowl Plaza.

9:28 a.m. Officers were called to a trash complaint on Burgess Creek Road.

9:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet lost at a store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

11:29 a.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help an unconscious person in the 200 block of South Sharp Street.

11:45 a.m. A found purse was turned in at the police station.

12:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

1:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive. It was a civil dispute about a forklift.

1:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet lost in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.

3:49 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of political signs damaged in the 32500 block of Routt County Road 35.

4:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 3900 block of Whistler Road. A person wanted to report an incident that occurred in 2010 related to his or her bank account.

5:22 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two metal cans that fell from a truck near mile marker 119 on U.S. 40.

8:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a rollover accident near mile marker 28 on Colorado Highway 131. The passenger, a 72-year-old Denver man, died in the crash. The driver, a 55-year-old Brighton man, was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with serious injuries and then flown to Denver Health Medical Center. The Colorado State Patrol investigated the crash and think alcohol might have been a contributing factor.

10:13 p.m. Officers investigated a suspicious car at Howelsen Hill.

11:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a cable box found near mile marker 52 on Colo. 131.
