Steamboat Ski Area to open gondola Friday

Steamboat Springs — Steamboat Ski Area officials announced Wednesday that the gondola and Heavenly Daze trail will open for the season at 8:30 a.m. Friday. Also open to skiers is the Christie Peak Express chairlift as well as green run Stampede and blue runs Vogue, Sitz and Jess' Cut Off. Adult, single-day lift tickets will be $59 starting Friday. Meadows Parking Lot will be closed Nov. 26 to 30.
