Steamboat fans of contemporary Texas honky-tonk music can purchase credentials for the 2012 MusicFest when a limited number go on sale 10 a.m. Tuesday at All That Jazz, 601 Lincoln Ave. The tickets will sold in the store on a first-come, first-served basis.
Winter Activity Expo is Dec. 5 at Sheraton
Join the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association and more than 50 local businesses for the Winter Activity Expo and learn where to go, where to eat and what to do this winter. The expo is from 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 5 at Sheraton Steamboat Resort. Prizes include SmartWool socks, goggles, T-shirts and a one-month pass to Old Town Hot Springs.
Bed and breakfast opens under Steamboat gondola
Jim and Kathy Manolios have opened The Victorian bed and breakfast (not to be confused with The Victoria condominiums in downtown Steamboat Springs) in a classic home moved from Kansas to a site under the Steamboat gondola in the 1990s. The house was remodeled and previously used by Timbers Resorts as guest accommodations for prospective buyers at One Steamboat Place. There are five luxury suites, each with its own bathroom. Much of the decor remains the same from when Timber Resorts owned it, with a few small alterations and additions.
Steinbergs achieve top Realtor performer rating
Prudential Real Estate Network recently recognized Prudential Steamboat Realty’s Kathy and Erik Steinberg as top performers in the state of Colorado for the third quarter. The Steinbergs ranked second in Colorado for gross commission income.
