Police, fire and ambulance calls

10:54 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of harassment. A property manager reported receiving unwanted phone calls from a company.

12:35 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person from out of state who wanted deputies to check on a family member in the 30000 block of Routt County Road 27 near Oak Creek. The family member was fine.

1 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a television and game system missing from a residence in the 2800 block of Downhill Plaza.

1:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who stole gas from a station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. Police think the woman accidentally did not pay for the gas.

2:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person could not be found.

2:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

2:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. An unknown man came into an apartment and then left.

3:25 p.m. A found purse was turned in at the police station. It was returned to the owner with $71 in cash still in the purse.

3:26 p.m. A found fanny pack was turned in at the police station. It was returned to the owner.

4:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A juvenile female stole three bottles of nail polish and was released to her parents.

4:31 p.m. A person came to the police station and reported losing an ID.

4:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a 9-year-old bit by a neighbor’s dog in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The dog was taken to the animal shelter. The child had a puncture wound and went to Yampa Valley Medical Center to get it cleaned.

5:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car swerving near mile marker 64 on Colorado Highway 131. Deputies found the car, but it was not swerving.

7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A man had stolen a couple of sandwiches and was given a summons to appear in court.

9:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 1000 block of Uncochief Circle. A woman reported a man came to her residence claiming to be a law enforcement officer. Police could not locate the man, and police think the man may have been a private investigator.
