Posts host Veterans Day events in Routt County this month

Steamboat Springs American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts host Veterans Day events throughout November:
■ Visit veterans from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Monday at the Doak Walker Care Center.
■ Volunteers are needed for Turkey Bingo on Sunday. Shifts are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Call Jim at 970-879-3936 or Wayne at 970-757-0074 to volunteer.
■ Volunteers are need to help with the Habitat for Humanity house that is being built in Riverside for a local man who is serving in the Navy. Those who would like to help build a fence in the yard are asked to call Tony Weiss at 970-846-5035.
