Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person passed out in a cab at Walton Creek Road and Whistler Road.
6:41 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident at U.S. Highway 40 and Meadow Creek Drive.
6:47 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 104 on U.S. 40. A car was on the side of the road, but it was not involved in an accident.
11:52 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of tire chains and wheelbarrow tires stolen in the 30200 block of Deer Lane near Steamboat.
2:02 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person at Bud Werner Memorial Library that found his or her bike that was stolen eight weeks ago.
2:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:02 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a kayak stolen in the 23100 block of Schussmark Trail near Oak Creek.
3:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
6:33 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a rollover crash on Routt County Road 80 about 15 miles north of Hayden. The driver refused medical treatment.
8:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 1100 block of Saratoga Avenue. A mom said her two daughters were receiving unwanted text messages from a boy.
9:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an explosion that shook a person’s window in the 800 block of Weiss Circle. The tire on a semitrailer had ruptured.
9:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. It was gone when officers arrived.
9:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 200 block of Willett Heights Trail. A woman called a tow truck driver to unlock her car, and the woman said the driver had acted weird and scared her.
