Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:10 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who lost his or her medication on a bus.
12:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a drunken person at a bar in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:44 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who possibly had alcohol poisoning at Colorado Mountain College.
5:38 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who had abdominal pain in the 100 block of Oak Street.
12:41 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the first block of Main Street.
1:28 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who was bitten by a rat at Strawberry Park Elementary School.
2:16 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 29800 block of Bear Trail.
3:17 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell off a ladder in the 13400 block of Routt County Road 70 near Hayden.
4:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a broken window at a business in the first block of 10th Street.
4:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1900 block of 13th Street. A door was unlocked at a business, but no one was there.
4:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fraudulent $20 bill found at a bank in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had come into the Routt County Motor Vehicle Department smelling like alcohol. The person could not be found.
5:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at Mount Werner Road and Montview Lane.
5:47 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of items that had been broken in a home in the 26500 block of C.R. 43.
10:03 p.m. Deputies were called to help a person who was having mental health issues near Steamboat.
11:45 p.m. Officers contacted a person at a bar in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. A 20-year-old Steamboat man was issued a summons for minor in possession of alcohol. He later was arrested on suspicion of theft, menacing and possession of a dangerous weapon. Police say he got into a cab, refused to pay and then threatened the driver with a knife.
