1:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive.
8:28 a.m. Officers were called to help Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters with a person who fell and hit his or her head at a business in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
8:52 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man who had not shown up for work. Officers tried to find the man at his home in the 200 block of Sixth Street, but he was not there.
9:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a trailer parked overnight at Emerald Park. It was moved.
9:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at River Creek Park. A kayaker left his wallet on the shore, and it was gone when he returned from kayaking.
11:56 a.m. Firefighters were called to a report of a small grass fire on Elk River Road. It quickly was put out.
12:07 p.m. Officers in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue arrested a 39-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of violating a protection order.
1:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car swerving at Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.
2:21 p.m. Firefighters were called to a report of a small grass fire at Downhill Drive and West End Avenue. It quickly was put out.
4:01 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 41500 block of Routt County Road 38A.
4:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.
5:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person trespassing in the 1200 block of Manitou Avenue. The man was given a trespass notice.
6:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people gathered around a tree with a bear in it in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The people left, and the bear came down.
6:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music coming from outside Soda Creek Elementary School. It was coming from a church group holding a function.
7:27 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver near mile marker 50 on Colorado Highway 131.
7:31 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person near mile marker 139 on U.S. Highway 40.
7:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man who left a residence in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. He was contacted near Lincoln Avenue and Indian Trails, and the 60-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
8:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that possibly was injured in the 900 block of Pine Street. It was fine and went up a tree.
8:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 4 on C.R. 129.
10:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1200 block of Mountain Village Circle. A 33-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of harassment.
11:33 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 27200 block of Brandon Circle.
