12:26 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers investigated a suspicious car in the 2900 block of Riverside Plaza.

5:30 a.m. Officers were called to check on a woman who fell and hit her head in the first block of Anglers Drive.

7:50 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident near mile marker 68 on Colorado Highway 131.

9:07 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an apartment that had been broken into in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive. The apartment was vacant and nothing was taken.

10:07 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a bear near mile marker 4 on Routt County Road 129.

11:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car parked parallel in an diagonal parking area at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

12:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Yampa Valley Medical Center. An employee was concerned that someone drove to the hospital drunk. The person was contacted and was sober.

1:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of unauthorized use of a credit card in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

2:57 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a possible drunken driver near mile marker 68 on Colo. 131.

3:47 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 900 block of Confluence Court. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a drunken man that fell off a porch and was unconscious but breathing.

4:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of dump trucks driving up to Colorado Mountain College without having their loads covered.

5:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $100 to $150 in cash taken from a donation jar at a business in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The money was being raised for the Bear River Skatepark, and there was no suspect information.

5:36 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a possible illegal burn near mile marker 109 on U.S. Highway 40.

7:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of Buena Vista Court. Two neighbors were arguing, and officers mediated the situation.

7:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a Dumpster at 11th and Oak streets. Officers scared the bear away.

7:57 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of Willow Bend near Oak Creek.

9 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in Dream Island Plaza. They could not be found.

9:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a Jeep Wrangler that hit a moose at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. The occupants of the car were fine, but the moose died.
