Steamboat man involved in motorcycle crash still listed in serious condition

A Colorado State Patrol trooper investigates a wrecked motorcycle along Routt County Road 14 on Monday afternoon. State Patrol Sgt. Scott Elliott said a man lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected from it. The man, who has been identified as Niall McNeice, 24, of Steamboat Springs, was airlifted to Denver Health Medical Center after he suffered serious injuries.

— The Colorado State Patrol has identified the man involved in the motorcycle crash Monday near Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 14 as Niall McNeice, 24, of Steamboat Springs. On Tuesday evening he was listed in serious condition at Denver Health Medical Center.

The crash was reported at 3:05 p.m. Monday. Troopers said it appears McNeice lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected. Sgt. Scott Elliott on Tuesday evening said no other information was available about the crash.
