Sue and Vance Fulton traveled to Moab for a short vacation. Their son, Ben, met them there and they spent time in the park camping and doing some sightseeing.
The Hayden Public Library book club will discuss “The Art of Fielding” by Chad Harbach at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Come join the group for an enjoyable evening.
The town of Hayden will host open discussions for residents who live in or near the historic downtown district regarding the area’s zoning. The meetings are from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, from 2 to 6 p.m. May 24, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 25. Totally Kids is gearing up for summer activities. Tee ball registration still is being taken for 4- to 7-year-olds, with games starting May 29.
The Hayden Swim Program will hold swimming lessons starting June 4 in Craig. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. Friday. For more information, call Donna Bertram at 970-276-4213. Forms can be picked up at Hayden Valley Elementary School.
Soccer registration for kids 5 to 14 are due by 5 p.m. May 25. Forms should be turned in at Hayden Valley Elementary School. Games will be held at Dry Creek Park starting in July.
The Totally Kids Summer Day Camp is taking registrations for children ages 5 to 12. Registration is due May 25 at Hayden Valley Elementary School. The camp is from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 29 through mid-August. For more information on soccer or day camp, call Carolyn Gregory at 970-846-9083. Verna Whaley had her four grandsons come in for a delightful visit.
Get-well wishes to Linda Long, who was flown to Fort Collins for medical reasons.
More than 60 people attended the Historical Society High Tea on May 6. Everybody who attended had an enjoyable time.
High school athletic and academic awards will be presented at 6 p.m. May 24 in the Soroco High School gym.
High school graduation is at 11 a.m. May 25 in the gym.
