Trailhead Lodge sales top $9 million from auction
Wednesday, May 9, 2012
Steamboat Springs A spokesman for Kennedy Wilson Auction Group updated Trailhead Lodge auction totals at 24 luxury condominiums “sold,” with a combined value of $9.17 million.
“Two thirds of the units ultimately sold to online bidders,” according to a Kennedy Wilson news release. The release did not directly address whether the owners of the property, Silverleaf Financial, accepted all winning bids. Final transactions could take as long as 45 days to close, according to sources that attended the auction at a downtown Denver hotel.
The auction attracted 100 people, including 75 at the hotel and 25 registered bidders following the action online. One of the bidders participated via a personal computer from a cruise ship at sea.
