4:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious person who appeared to be breaking into a car at Yampa and Seventh streets. Police determined that the man owned the car and was sleeping out of it.

Trailhead Lodge auction nets 24 winning bids

About three dozen units in the Steamboat Springs base area development were put on the auction block Sunday during an event in downtown Denver. Trailhead Lodge was acquired by a Salt Lake City company through foreclosure proceedings last year.
