12:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of bear getting into trash cans in the first block of Nob Street.

1:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident on East Logan Avenue. A neighbor looking after a house across the street reported a light was on inside the house that was not on before. There was no one in the house, and it is unknown why the light was on.

2:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 900 block of Oak Street.

2:33 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear at 11th and Oak streets.

6:25 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of an elderly woman whose emergency alert device had been activated. The woman was fine, and officers helped her reset the alert device.

10:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a window broken out of a piece of construction equipment at Hilltop Parkway and Sandhill Circle.

10:51 a.m. Officers were called to retrieve a wallet found near Hilltop Parkway and Sandhill Circle. It was returned to its owner.

11:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of three panhandlers in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. They were told to leave the area.

1:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bad check passed at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

3:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti at Howelsen Skate Park.

3:20 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of two people having a disagreement in the 300 block of Terhune Avenue in Yampa. They were separated.

3:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of marijuana plants found in a Dumpster at Colorado Mountain College. Officers seized the four or five baby plants. The incident is under investigation.

4:12 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having a medical issue in the 400 block of Mountain Vista Circle.

5:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man in Steamboat who said he received harassing phone calls from another man in reference to dating a girl. The man making the harassing phone calls was contacted and told to stop.

6:21 p.m. Firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 44400 block of Routt County Road 44 near Steamboat Springs.

7:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an assault in the 400 block of Willow Bend in Oak Creek. No other information was available.

8:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people partying and screaming in the 400 block of Yahmonite Street. They were told to go inside.
