2:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a suspicious car at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

2:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a house on fire in the 1500 block of Conestoga Circle. A man was able to get out of the house, but a dog died, and the house was destroyed.

8:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a careless driver who was driving toward Steamboat from U.S. Highway 40 near Heritage Park. Officers found the car at Colorado Mountain College, but the driver was not there. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were going to follow up on the incident.

9:11 a.m. A found cellphone was turned in to the police station.

9:24 a.m. Officer helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters with a small gas spill at a gas station in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The spill was cleaned up.

10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit another car in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive. A witness talked to the driver, and the witness said the driver did not want to report the accident because she was late for an appointment. An officer contacted the woman later and gave her a summons to appear in court.

12:18 p.m. Officers were called to help firefighters with a two-car, noninjury accident in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

12:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit another car’s mirror in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The driver was contacted and was not aware he caused damage.

2:47 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of vandalism in the 23800 block of Routt County Road 16 near Stagecoach. A person reported his or her padlock had been filled with epoxy.

4:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 800 block of Yampa Street. The driver could not be found.

7:01 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two women having an argument in the first block of Oak Ridge Circle in Oak Creek.

7:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in Steamboat. A woman said she was being harassed by her former boyfriend.

8:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a domestic disturbance on 13th Street.

8:51 p.m. Deputies and North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with a cook having a medical issue at a ranch in the 54800 block of C.R. 129. The 52-year-old man died from what might have been a heart attack.

11:52 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 54100 block of C.R. 129. The car was not there when officers arrived.
