Steamboat Springs — Adding to its 25th anniversary season lineup, Strings Music Festival announced that Canadian country crooner k.d. lang will perform Aug. 3 at Strings Music Pavilion. Festival officials also announced the return of jazz trumpet player Chris Botti, whose performance sold out in 2011. He will perform July 27. An opening night orchestra performance of Dvorak music and a July 20 concert with Lee Ann Womack were announced in February. Tickets for the festival go on sale April 4 and are available at www.stringsmusicfestival.org or by calling 970-879-5056.
