US 40 reopen near Hayden after wildfire

Steamboat Springs — A section of U.S. Highway 40 just west of Hayden has reopened after a wildfire.
West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters are on scene, where a 10-acre controlled burn got out of control Thursday afternoon.
According to Routt County Communications radio traffic, the highway was closed between mile markers 109 and 111.
