Steamboat Springs A playoff berth led the Steamboat Springs High School girls basketball team to land three players on the all-Western Slope League team.
Junior forward Nikki Fry was named to the first team. Eryn Rinck and Sydney Bauknecht were named honorable mention.
Fry was the Sailors’ most consistent performer this season, and Rinck and Bauknecht helped carry Steamboat at intermittent times during the year.
“It’s good for them to be recognized,” Steamboat coach John Ameen said. “Even as honorable mention, they were recognized by the other coaches as an integral part of the team.”
