Steamboat Springs The Soroco High School boys basketball team took some lumps this season, but the team will return two all-league players next season.
Sophomore forward Ryan Jeep was named to the first Class 2A Western Slope League team, and junior guard Nic Paxton was named honorable mention.
Jeep burst onto the scene averaging 15 points and 15 rebounds per game. Paxton averaged nearly 16 points per game.
“We got everything coming back,” Rams coach Sam McLeod said. “So that’s definitely a reason for optimism. We want to take the step of being an elite team. We want to make that next step of being one of the elite teams in a good league.”
