1:12 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person yelling at Eighth and Oak streets. A warning was issued.

2:01 a.m. Officers contacted two men who were wrestling at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. They were given a warning.

3:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. It was quiet when officers arrived.

11:10 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of check fraud involving a possible Craigslist scam.

11:21 a.m. Officers were called to help with a request for an ambulance on Downhill Drive.

12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of tools that went missing during the past three months in the 900 block of Twilight Lane.

1 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in Hayden. A woman said she recently got a new cell phone number and was receiving disturbing text messages related to drugs.

2:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 2100 block of Resort Drive.

2:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was badly parked in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The car was on private property, so no action was taken.

6:05 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of domestic violence. A 52-year-old Hayden man was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.

7:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of kids throwing snowballs at cars at Fish Creek Falls Road and Tamarack Drive.

8:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that rolled near U.S. Highway 40 and Walton Creek Road. No one was injured.

10:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person driving badly near mile marker 64 on Colo. Highway 131. Deputies could not establish probable cause to pull over the car.

11:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:10 a.m. -- An ex-roommate got scammed on Craigslist, wiring money based on a bogus check. Craigslist is sleazeball central.

10:08 p.m. -- My brother would stop them anyway, then thump their taillight on the way to their window, saying "Your taillight was out, but now it's okay. Can I see your driver's license, registration, etc etc." Probable cause can be easily manufactured, it just requires a little creativity.
