Tony Stich: Congratulations

I just wanted to thank the Steamboat Pilot & Today staff for all the coverage on the District 1 race for Routt County commissioner and to give a huge hug to everyone who encouraged and supported my campaign. While participation at the town hall meetings was eye-opening and a bit disappointing, those that did attend made the effort fun and rewarding.
My congratulations to James “Moose” Barrows on furthering his bid for county commissioner. I trust that he will support South Routt’s recovery from the extended recession when he’s elected into office.
I’d also like to congratulate Brita Horn for a hard-fought race. I’m sure we’ve not seen the last of Ms. Horn. I think that her daughters will be the true winners from this minor setback. Thanks again to all, and God bless.
