Totally Kids sponsors a free summer food program for children ages 1 to 18 through the summer at Hayden Valley Elementary School. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Adults can eat breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3. The program is funded through Hunger Free Colorado. Lauren Letson graduates Daniels College of Business

Lauren Letson, a 2007 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School, graduated magna cum laude from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver in 2011. Letson also graduated in early June from the Daniels College of Business with a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Letson now is working as a financial planning resident at Chapel & Collins Wealth Management Firm in Denver.

Rotary Youth Exchange is seeking families to host

Steamboat Springs Rotary clubs are looking for six host families to share their homes for about three months with students from other countries. For the 2012-13 academic year, there are two students lined up to come to Steamboat: a boy from Brazil and a girl from Mexico. Both students are 17 years old, good students and motivated. The students arrive in August and return home in mid-June. Host families do not have to be involved in Rotary or have children in the school system. Students have their own spending money and medical insurance.
