12:15 a.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive and then in the 400 block of Eaglepointe Court.

12:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of children outside talking and skateboarding and keeping someone awake in the 600 block of Mountain Vista Circle. Officers issued a verbal warning.

3:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 1000 block of Longview Circle. Officers took a report on a large amount of cash stolen from the house.

7:51 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of a noninjury car crash at mile marker 20 of Routt County Road 129.

7:51 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a dog biting another dog on U.S. Highway 40 and C.R. 33A. Deputies took a report.

9 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of two dogs at large at C.R. 14 and C.R. 14C.

9:54 a.m. Someone turned in a lost debit card that was found at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

10:55 a.m. Deputies helped a driver at mile marker 63 of Colorado Highway 131. Deputies red-tagged the vehicle.

11:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at mile marker 125 of U.S. 40. The person was not feeling well.

11:55 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a motorcycle weaving in and out of construction cones at mile marker 117 of U.S. 40.

11:55 a.m. Deputies caught a cat that had been abandoned, and it was taken to a shelter.

3:07 p.m. Officers were called to a car crash. The mirrors of two cars hit as the cars were passing in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person coming into a business repeatedly in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

4:43 p.m. Deputies were called to a one-car, noninjury crash at mile marker 4 of C.R. 54.

5:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a car in the 500 block of Steamboat Boulevard.

6:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car swerving at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

7:03 p.m. Someone found a wallet at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. It was returned to its owner.

8:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Loggers Lane and Lincoln Avenue, where officers arrested a 20-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of violating a protection order and minor in possession of alcohol.

9:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an all-terrain vehicle speeding up and down the road in the 6100 block of U.S. 40.

9:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog barking in the 1400 block of Morgan Court.

9:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person who was intoxicated and homeless in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police issued a LIFT-UP of Routt County voucher for the man to spend the night in a hotel.

10:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a missing person at Mount Werner Road and Montview Lane after a couple had gotten off a bus and the male suddenly couldn’t locate his girlfriend. The girlfriend was found at their condo, where they were headed.

10:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the Ski Time Square condominiums. Officers found that three males couldn’t get into their apartment that their roommate had locked them out of.

11:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a large group of juveniles trespassing in Elkins Meadow at Little Fish Creek Falls. Officers issued warnings to the group.

11:34 p.m. A person called police to report a possibly drunken driver in the first block of Sequoia Court.

11:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers chased it up a tree.
