1:47 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a loud party in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. The partygoers were told to keep the noise down.
2:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a black and silver bike stolen from the 800 block of Yampa Street.
8:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle that was oddly parked in the middle of a parking lot in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle was red-tagged.
11:34 a.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a sailboat that had capsized in Steamboat Lake. Police said all of the boat’s occupants made it safely to shore.
3:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 2000 block of 13th Street. Police said someone broke into a business and vandalized it by spraypainting threats on the wall. No suspect information was available.
3:33 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a wildland fire in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.
5:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary at the Brent Romick Rodeo Arena. Police said someone broke into a shed and took an estimated $1,000 worth of items, including two toolboxes.
7:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two male juveniles who started a small grass fire in the 2400 block of Pine Grove Road. Police said the boys fled into the nearby Spring into Summer Carnival in the Meadows Parking Lot and could not be found. Firefighters put out the fire.
7:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an illegal burn in the 1000 block of Village Lane. Residents were told to put out a campfire and seek a burn permit.
8:28 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a 29-year-old woman from Hayden in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police arrested the woman because she was suspected of violating a protection order that prohibited her from consuming alcohol. Police also arrested a 49-year-old Steamboat man who was with her. The man tried to flee from officers after they discovered he had several outstanding warrants, including ones for felony charges.
10:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat. Police arrested a 50-year-old man on suspicion of violating a protection order.
