12:12 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a drunken person on Mount Werner Road and gave the person a ride home.

12:27 a.m. Officers red-tagged a car that was parked in the middle of a parking lot and blocking in other cars at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

12:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had been chased by a bear that was in a Dumpster in the 2500 block of Cattle Kate Circle. The bear could not be found.

2:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an accident in the 900 block of Mauna Kea Lane. Police say a 22-year-old Fort Collins man drove through the intersection of Fish Creek Falls Road and Tamarack Drive and hit a parked car in a driveway on Mauna Kea Lane. The man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center because he knocked out some teeth, and police said they planned to arrest the man on suspicion of driving under the influence.

6:13 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having chest pain in the 300 block of Vista Verde Drive.

7:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of harassment at Strawberry Park Elementary School. Deputies still are investigating the incident involving possible unsafe driving in the parking lot.

10:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing at a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two people had been kicked out for having loud parties and had returned to the campground. They were given a trespass warning. A man returned later to get his belongings out of a Dumpster, and he was escorted off the property.

10:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a red Huffy bike found at Short and Pine streets.

12:11 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to rescue a 14-year-old boy who was stranded on a rock face at Fish Creek Falls. The boy was able to come down with some help.

12:28 p.m. Deputies investigated a car that had been broken into in the 23800 block of Routt County Road 16 near Oak Creek.

2:57 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

4:26 p.m. Search and Rescue volunteers were called to help a female who possibly had a broken leg at Fish Creek Falls.

5 p.m. Firefighters were called to help with a gas leak at Downhill Drive and Jacob Circle.

7:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a young child in the front of a truck without a car seat at a business in the first block of Anglers Drive. The car could not be found.

10:42 p.m. Officers were called to help a woman who had not been able to reach her husband. Officers went to the husband’s home, and he was not there.

10:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person who refused to pay his or her bill at a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Officers were unable to respond.

11:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shots fired at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man was kicked out of the bar after saying inappropriate things to women and reportedly fired a gun from outside the bar toward two bouncers in the bar. A 57-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder.
