Happy birthday wishes to Roxanne Delay, Jeremy Boyd, Arty Munoz and Karen Gilroy.
Happy anniversary wishes to Tim and Amy Frentress and Terry and Rebecca Wattles.
Get-well wishes to Donna Hellyer, who recently had surgery in Denver. She is recovering at the Doak Walker Care Center and hopes to be home soon. If you are in Steamboat, stop by and see her.
The Montieth family had a family reunion June 2 at the Routt County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. About 120 family members showed up from Colorado, South Dakota and Oregon. They had a potluck dinner, and the family band played its favorite songs for the older siblings.
Mark you calendar for Friday to head down to the Hayden Public Library from 2 to 4 p.m. to meet local writer Chris Appel and get her book titled “Christian’s Story.” For more information, call 970-276-3777.
On Friday night, take your lawn chairs, blankets and plenty of bug spray to the Hayden Congregational Church to watch the movie “Dolphin Tale” on the church lawn. The movie will start at about 8:30 p.m. The free event is sponsored by the Hayden Police Department and Hayden Congregational Church.
Vacation Bible School at the Baptist Church is Tuesday through Saturday. There will be a kickoff at 6 p.m. Monday.
South Routt
Congratulations to Callie Bradley, of Oak Creek, for winning the women’s field of the Steamboat Marathon. Congratulations also to Wyatt Villa, grandson of Carol and Richard Villa, for winning the half-marathon in his age group.
The Tracks and Trails Museum will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 20. New displays will be featured.
