Steamboat briefs: Depot Art Center lot to be closed through Friday
Monday, June 4, 2012
The city of Steamboat Springs and contractor Native Excavating are replacing an old water main and repaving the Depot Art Center parking lot. The parking lot will be closed through Friday.
There will be one-lane road closures at the 13th Street Bridge this week. Because of a narrow lane width, Native Excavating asks that semitrailers and vehicles carrying large loads use Shield Drive off of U.S. Highway 40 to access 13th Street.
During the closure, the city encourages motorists to use the parking lots at West Lincoln Parkway adjacent to Dream Island and on 13th Street across from Bud Werner Memorial Library. For more information, call Danny Paul at 970-871-8210.
