Sid Harper entertained her cousin, Skeets, who was in from Santa Fe. They did the tourist thing in our area.

The Hayden Public Library is hosting several summer reading programs. If you have a child preschool age to 5, the reading program starts Thursday. If you have a child 6 to 10, the reading program starts Tuesday. There also is an adult reading program. And on Fridays, there will be a cooking and bingo program for all ages. Kami and David Long took a vacation to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

With “snowbirds” Bobbie Vetter, Cathie Voorhees and Susi Crowner home for the summer, all members of the Grand Slammers met Thursday evening at Cathie’s home in Yampa. Prizewinners were Karen Craig, Cathy Lewis, Mary Jane Logan, Bobbie Vetter, Jeanie Lombardi and Connie Sigler. Everyone received a handmade item from Cathie’s mission trip to Kosova last summer. Susi will be the hostess in June.
