Steamboat Springs 9:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1400 block of Athens Plaza. It was a civil matter involving an estate.
10:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 400 block of River Road. A person reported ordering parts from California, and they had not yet arrived.
11:26 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a girl who ran into a car while riding her bike in the 300 block of Myers Street. The girl had minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
11:54 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car swerving near mile marker 2 on Routt County Road 14. The car could not be found.
1:04 p.m. Officers investigated a house that had been broken into on a previous day in the 1800 block of Manitou Avenue.
1:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of sunglasses that had been taken from a car that was impounded in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
2:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that had been chased up a tree by dogs in the 300 block of Ninth Street.
5:10 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a woman who said her ex-husband was sending threatening text messages.
5:36 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a girl who ran into her car while on a moped on West End Avenue. She suffered minor injuries.
7:08 p.m. Deputies and North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of illegal burning along Willow Creek Road near Clark. The fire was out before deputies arrived.
8:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was gone when officers arrived.
8:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was gone when officers arrived.
9:21 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a loud music in the 21600 block of Fifth Avenue in Phippsburg. It was quiet when officers arrived.
9:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of illegal burning in the 200 block of Locust Court. It was a fire in a fire pit.
11:57 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two men fighting in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue. A 21-year-old Craig man was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and third-degree assault.
