12:08 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1300 block of Blue Sage Drive. It was gone when officers arrived.

6:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be found.

8 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident at Sixth and Oak streets.

8:32 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having abdominal pain in the 300 block of Vista Verde Drive.

9:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having chest pain in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

9:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 300 block of Steamboat Boulevard. It was a dispute about property between a former husband and wife.

9:28 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of hundreds of thumbtacks on the shoulder of Colorado Highway 131 about one mile from U.S. Highway 40. It is suspected someone put them there to damage bike tires. Colorado Department of Transportation workers removed the tacks.

11:42 a.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a baby moose stuck in a barbed-wire fence in the 35700 block of U.S. Highway 40. The moose got out of the fence on its own.

12:53 p.m. Firefighters were called to help a person having a medical issue at Snake Island near the Yampa River Core Trail.

5:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had been threatened in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage.

9:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 100 block of Hill Street. A resident chased the bear away.

10:38 p.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint in the 200 block of Blue Sage Circle. Officers were unable to contact the residents but planned to issue a citation.

10:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that crashed while pulling out of a driveway in the 1300 block of Blue Sage Drive. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

11:06 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two people arguing in the 40300 block of Anchor Way near Steamboat.

11:12 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two females who entered a hot springs without paying in the 44200 block of Routt County Road 36.
