Thrift store burglarized in Oak Creek

— The Routt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a business in Oak Creek.

The burglary at the Brand Spankin Used thrift store at 107 E. Main St. was reported at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, and it is suspected the burglary occurred sometime after 3 p.m. Saturday.

Undersheriff Ray Birch said in an email that cash was stolen from inside the business. Investigators think someone entered the store through an unlocked window.
