The screenings can answer questions such as “Should he be walking by now?” “How many words should she be saying?” and “Is her hearing and vision what it should be?”

Cast ’n Blast seminar for women will be on Aug. 4

A women’s Cast ’n Blast seminar is at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 4 in Steamboat Springs. The class is for women interested in learning the basics of fly-fishing, proper firearms handling and safe shooting skills. No experience is necessary, and all equipment will be provided. Medical students in need of host homes in Steamboat

The Western Colorado Area Health Education Center is in need of hosts homes to provide temporary accommodations (four to six weeks) to Colorado medical students attending rural clinical rotations in and around Steamboat Springs. Requirements include: a smoke-free environment, a private bedroom with locking door, access to a bathroom (private or shared) and access to laundry and kitchen facilities.
