1:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a girl who was bitten by a dog in the 2200 block of Ski Trail Lane.

1:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was parked and blocking the garage doors at the downtown fire station.

2:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an argument between a security officer and two people using a pool in the 2800 block of Eagleridge Drive. The people were gone when officers arrived.

8:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a phone in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

9:39 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of cyclists riding abreast and creating a traffic hazard near mile marker 18 on Routt County Road 14.

11:52 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of trash being burned in a trash can in the 27600 block of Winchester Trail near Steamboat.

Noon Officers were called to a report of a person who was suicidal in Steamboat Springs.

1 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident. A woman was riding a child’s bike near mile marker 46 on Colo. Highway 131.

1:58 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of people trashing a trailer in the 26500 block of C.R. 43.

2:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen from the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza.

3:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault that reportedly occurred during the afternoon of July 19 at Yampa and Eighth streets. A woman reported that a man came up from behind her, grabbed her and said, “Don’t scream, and you won’t get hurt.” The woman told police she was able to free herself and was not hurt. The woman had very little information about the suspect.

3:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of rocks thrown at a house and a car in the first block of Main Street in Yampa.

5:15 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.

6:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who witnessed an alleged drug deal at Bud Werner Memorial Library.

7:40 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a 63-year-old man who was involved in a dirt bike accident in North Routt County. The accident had happened a couple of hours earlier, and the man was having trouble breathing. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

10:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard what sounded like gunshots in the 3300 block of Covey Circle. Officers could not find anything suspicious.

10:43 p.m. Officers stopped a car at U.S. Highway 40 and Conestoga Circle for displaying fictitious license plates and arrested a 22-year-old Canon City man on suspicion of driving under revocation/suspension/denial and no proof of insurance.

11:15 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two people having a disagreement in the 26500 block of C.R. 43. A 23-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.
