2:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of about $30 in dollar coins stolen from a car in the 1900 block of Curve Plaza. The caller didn’t want to file a report but asked for extra patrol. The car was not locked.

8:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone leaving furniture on the side of the road in the 1300 block of Blue Sage Drive.

10:07 a.m. Officers helped a person who had run out of gas at High Point Drive and South Lincoln Avenue.

10:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft of trail signs at Butcherknife Trail.

11:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone with a leg injury on the Yampa River near Bud Werner Memorial Library. The person requested an officer but didn’t want an ambulance to respond.

12:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two dogs locked in a car at 12th and Yampa streets. An animal control officer talked to the owner.

12:07 p.m. A resident in the 2500 block of Val D’Isere Circle called to complain that neighbors weren’t cleaning up their trash after bears went through it.

1:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone cutting their wrist. Officers pulled over a vehicle for speeding on Mount Werner Road in connection with the call and arrested the driver, a 36-year-old Steamboat Springs man, on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and speeding.

2:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a phone that had been stolen in the 700 block of Lincoln Ave.

2:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog locked in a car in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.

2:34 p.m. Officers were called to a domestic issue in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue.

4:23 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of two dirt bikes on Buffalo Pass without licenses.

5:49 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a sheep on the road on Colorado Highway 131 in Oak Creek. The sheep was gone when deputies arrived.

6:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of the railroad crossing lights blinking when no train is there. Routt County Communications contacted the railroad company.

6:54 p.m. Deputies were called to picked up an older man trying to flag down a ride because his car had broken down at mile marker 147 of U.S. Highway 40.

7:17 p.m. Someone reported a phone lost in Ski Time Square.

7:57 p.m. Officers were called to another complaint from Val D’Isere Circle that residents were not cleaning up trash left behind by bears.

8:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an ATM not dispensing the right amount of cash in the 200 block of Anglers Drive.

10:14 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment at mile marker 105 of U.S. 40, where a 23-year-old Hayden man reportedly was passing his ex-girlfriend’s car at high speeds and slowing down in front of her repeatedly. Deputies arrested the man on suspicion of reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of harassment.

10:22 p.m. Someone found a purse in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue and turned it in to police.
