Survey being conducted about youth tobacco use

The N-CTRL coalition led by Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association and Grand Futures Prevention Coalition is conducting a public opinion survey to gather information about youth tobacco use in Craig, Hayden and Oak Creek. Aging Well summer class calendars now available

Aging Well, a program of the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, has summer class calendars available featuring fitness classes for older adults. Classes are offered in Steamboat, Hayden, Oak Creek and Yampa. The summer schedule includes tai chi, Arthritis Foundation Exercise and Healthier Living, a chronic disease self-management workshop. Most classes are ongoing and drop-ins are welcome. There is a $3 requested donation per class unless otherwise noted. Integrated Community is seeking tutor volunteers

Integrated Community is looking for volunteers to teach English. The in-home tutoring program trains and matches volunteers with limited English speaking community members. Get to know residents from other cultures while helping them learn English. For more information, call Roddy at 970-620-1513.
