12:23 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of an injured elk near mile marker 143 on U.S. Highway 40.

1:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a drunken man who fell in the street in the 600 block of Yampa Street. The man was unable to say his name or where he lived. He was taken to detox.

1:17 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell at Bud Werner Memorial Library.

2:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party at Fifth and Pine streets. A warning was given.

5:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a skunk that had a glass bottle stuck on its head in the first block of Anglers Drive. Officers could not find the skunk.

7:29 a.m. Firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 2800 block of Downhill Plaza.

8:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an $400 bike stolen from a driveway in Steamboat.

10:24 a.m. Firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical issue at 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

12:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people having an argument in the 3000 block of Sunburst Court.

12:32 p.m. Officers were called to help with a child custody dispute.

2:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear trying to get into tents at a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers planned to set a bear trap.

3:54 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with a nose that would not stop bleeding.

4:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. The driver was contacted and was not drunk.

6 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man throwing rocks at Dr. Rich Weiss Park. Officers could not find the man.

7:28 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a bike lost in the 21500 block of Second Avenue in Milner. The bike later was found.

8:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver on Fish Creek Falls Road. The driver could not be found.

8:43 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 5500 block of Routt County Road 78 near Hayden.

9:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found at Howelsen Hill. It was returned to its owner.

10:11 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the first block of Moffat Avenue in Yampa.

10:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. The source of the fireworks could not be found.

10:42 p.m. A man contacted officers at Howelsen Hill and said his friend was too drunk to walk home. The 50-year-old Steamboat man was arrested for violating a protection order that stated he could not consume alcohol.
